At the command prompt, type: "BLOOD" and press enter
At the command prompt, type: "EXIT" and press enter
- Highly recommended: The One Unit Whole Blood Launcher contains every known Blood map and mod, bMouse, and numerous extras. Find it at its official site here.
Since this release uses DOSBox, it is advised to read through our entry on DOSBox for general troubleshooting.
A common solution to this is changing the DOSBox graphical output. Run the "Graphics Mode setup" program in the game's folder and try out the options until one suits your preferences.
Music doesn't loop
Currently the Red Book CD Audio tracks of the game will not loop after playing through once. This will be remedied in a future version of DOSBox. A custom DOSBox build was created to alleviate the music looping issue for Blood. It can be found here.
The game provides an option to use MIDI music, but since the default DOSBox configuration provided by GOG will force mounting a CD, using MIDI music will require you to manually edit the configuration files. Blood will always play the CD music as a priority if you have a CD mounted, thus you will either have to remove the imgmount command or comment it out with a # in the dosboxBlood.conf as in the following example:
#imgmount D game.inst -t iso
- The GOG version of One Unit Whole Blood misses the "Unlock the Secrets: GameWizards Interactive Strategy Guide" that comes with the retail version of the game.
- Based on Build Engine.
