For some reason, the wiki's logo doesn't show up in Chrome. Look at this screen: Works fine in Firefox though. -Vagabond 17:24, 21 June 2011 (MEST)

That's because Firefox is better :) On a more serious note, I think I actually fixed the problem, but the server went down before I got to upload the new one and I forgot about it.. Xyem 21:51, 21 June 2011 (MEST)

Social Networking

There are some issues with the social network links: on some pages they are centered nicely while on others they stretch out the productinfobox Kingpin:_Life_of_Crime or Beyond_Good_and_Evil --PopsUlfr 21:55, 21 June 2011 (MEST)

Thank you, I will have a look and will try to fix it. --Ubivis 09:48, 22 June 2011 (MEST)

Pages marked for Removal

Do we still need this? Template:Gameinfo --PopsUlfr 12:54, 23 June 2011 (MEST)

Category:Games_published_by_EA_Games should not be linked on the left hand side since we already have Category:Games_published_by_Electronic_Arts. --PopsUlfr 14:02, 23 June 2011 (MEST)

About Template:Gameinfo, I tried an Implementation that inherits from Template:Productinfo-popsUlfr to only have to fix stuff in one place (Template:Gameinfo-popsUlfr). What do you think? --PopsUlfr 17:02, 26 June 2011 (MEST)

Is it possible to include the files from the, specifically using and Maybe then the Template:Hidden would be working. --PopsUlfr 13:40, 23 June 2011 (MEST)

SVG issue

Problem with SVG files: --PopsUlfr 13:40, 26 June 2011 (MEST)

Hey there, Ubivis. I'd like to formally move what I discussed here and request either membership to the administrator group or have at least some form of elevated privilege to modify special pages, the main page etc. The main page definitely needs more work and we need someone with a bit more time on their hands to maintain that sort of thing.

I'd like to nominate Vagabond at the same time, but before I actually discuss this with him I don't think it's appropriate for me to formally do so, so we'll save that until he's available.

If you think this is a feasible and appropriate move, I'll gladly accept the extra responsibility. I'm sure Vagabond will feel the same way, too. Tea 22:13, 15 August 2012 (MEST)

Granted :) --Ubivis 09:03, 16 August 2012 (MEST)
Thanks very much, first order of business will be giving the main page a fresh coat of paint I should think! Tea 12:17, 16 August 2012 (MEST)
Yeah, I'd like to get admin abilities as well. -Vagabond 22:57, 16 August 2012 (MEST)
Welcome on Board Vagabond :) --Ubivis 08:39, 17 August 2012 (MEST)

My, things are certainly looking sharp these days. So, what's changed? --Damuna 04:43, 20 September 2012 (MEST)

Welcome back :) quite a lot has changed.

  • File Information is stored with Hash and Filesize, at the game pages, you can see each individual file size. If a file changes, it is easier to change it, as you only have to change it in one place and have not to go to each game page itself.
  • We have a few new mods, who do some design stuff
  • There is a list few on the menu on the bottom (still trying to get it directly below the search field), where you can browse games by several categories.
  • Barefoot_Monkey made the essentials script (Firefox, Chrome and Opera), that enhances and does upload the shelf and wishlist of a user to his wiki page :)

User registration

I hate to have to say this but we need to lock down wiki account creation again, or at least change the requirements. We're getting swamped by spambots and despite me being an admin, I'm unable to do anything to stop them. Halp? Foxhack 06:36, 28 April 2013 (MEST)

  • Thanks for letting me know, I will shut down the registration for now and will look into changing the registration process (again).
    • Should be disabled now, I will look into changing the registration process in the next couple of days. --Ubivis 10:40, 28 April 2013 (MEST)
      • Thanks. Apparently there's a manual user creation option - we could go with that, and have people send us PMs at the GOG Forum if they want to have an account here. Foxhack 17:17, 28 April 2013 (MEST)

Could you please remove me from the list of administrators? I've got nothing to offer to the wiki now, and I've decided to distance myself from the GOG community at large. Sorry. Foxhack 18:46, 19 July 2013 (MEST)

NO!! Don't leave, Foxhack! You're one of the best editors on here! Please stay - you have so much to offer and I'll miss you terribly if you go.  :-(

Sorry. I'm not needed anymore, and the forums have started to resemble the Steam Community more and more every day so I'd rather become scarce there. I'm gonna focus on VGCollect and other work projects for the time being. You'll be fine. Later. Foxhack 05:53, 23 July 2013 (MEST)
